It was such a busy day, when I try to find the words... I find myself roaming off to iTunes buying the Once soundtrack. It's the most beautiful music I've heard in a very, very long time. And I haven't even heard it for a couple of months, but I keep thinking about it. And now it's mine, mine, MINE!!!
ahem...
Painted really cute birdhouses (from Michael's, for a $1!) and planted onions and lettuce in the garden. It was a mess! But, really, what did I expect? And I picked up kid-sized garden tools, so they had fun digging and scraping and sprinkling and watering and splashing.
Then, to track the growth of the garden, they have snappy new field journals.
The field journals whose covers somehow swallowed up half the day yesterday- but once I started, I just couldn't stop. How very unlike me!

I've also loved the Once soundtrack. We got to see Swell Season at Austin City Limits this last summer :)
