Such Gratitude,

We're here! We made it down safely, and although scarred and with more casualties than expected, so did all of our stuff. And it's so much uncertainty as we anxiously await the unfolding. My change-hating nature is hard at work, but it's impossible not to appreciate this beautiful house with its old-fashioned-generous proportions and its light drawing design. Edward is happy to have been able to spend a warm afternoon at the playground on Thursday, and he already has made a few new friends. Although we are unsure of what the future holds, we are so grateful for the efforts of those who helped get us here and those who have welcomed us with a love and generosity we could not have imagined. God is so good, and I suppose that that is all we need to know in this moment.

Was looking forward to an update....we miss you guys already...but glad the move went well. Collin and Nana were already talking about when Edward comes back to visit.

Empty boxes? That's funny! We have reached that point where we have unpacked enough... I suppose I will slowly "need" the things in the unpacked boxes, and they will gradually find their way out.
